Plant identification help needed!

I bought a plant at B&Q the other day and within a day it is in terrible shape! I lost the tag so I don't know what kind it is to look-up how to look after it.

Can anyone help me identify it from the picture attached!? Or give me advice on how to bring it back to life? It looked so healthy when I bought it and now it's so droopy and sad looking!

Looks like a Salvia in need of a good watering.

we've just found the original pot and discovered its a Hebe. But we've watered it loads and it had all the recent rain. Fingers crossed it perks up a bit!

Go to the RHS website and see if they have any after care tips and advice, some plants don't like too much water...

Isn't this a bit like buying a pet and not knowing if you feed it dead mice or dogfood?

If it's a Hebe then you may well have Vine Weevil.

You can use nematodes to fight the larvae but as it's wilting now it may already be too late. Dig down and check out the roots - if they have been eaten away then it's a goner. If there's enough root left replant it (having got rid of all the soil and washed the roots).

Google vine weevil for lots of ways to deal.

If you've only just bought it and it turns out to have vine weevil, then you should take it back.

But I'd doubt it very much. Where particular types of plants are known to be susceptible to vine weevil, nurseries use chemicals in the compost to prevent them (which aren't allowed to be on general sale).

Could be over watered and it's suffocating . Is it in the ground or a pot ?

That's magic bindweed. Dry it out and smoke it
