Hello!

In order to keep costs low I was going to tile the Inbetween kitchen work top and upper cabinet.

Now wondering if plastic splash back is a good alternative? What would go behind the cooker ? I have a range cooker.

And does anyone know of a trust worthy

Company that can measure the space for me and fit ?

Also does anyone know somewhere where I can get the tiles cut smaller ? As I was going to use the same pattern as the floor but as they are wall and floor tiles I was just going to use them but they are 60 by 30 in size and standard Inbetween cabinet length is 50cm. So in this scenario I can use a 60 by 60 tile as that's the only other size they do and chop of 10cm?

Which is why I was wondering if someone knew a place I could get tiles cut i would try the metro tile

Type size ? Or just do as I suggested ??

Anybody help???

I'm not sure you could have plastic near the cooker...? We have glass bought from the glass place on the corner in Peckham, way cheaper than actual splash backs and they do choices in colour/colour matching too, they cut to size and then you glue in place easy!

    • I've now had no post in Underhill for close to 3 weeks (parcels a-plenty) - I'm missing a cheque from someone and 2 full weeks of topical magazines - is it just me or are others experiencing an even worse than usual service. I used to get 1-2 deliveries a week, totalling 15-20 items.
    • I suspect, from their behaviour, they may not like you either 🤣 Sounds like you may have cubs if they are causing so much damage
    • Just want to write a recommendation for Indaco's Florist at the Grove Tavern end of Lordship Lane. Honestly you couldn't ask for a better local florist. Great selection, brilliant quality and amazing value. Even in these financially challenging times, we've been able to keep a nice rotation of flowers in our flat thanks to Indaco's. Paul, the owner, is lovely and has been living and working in Dulwich all his life.  It is not easy for the businesses on this stretch of Lordship Lane where there is limited passing trade and the negative effect of being by the derelict Grove Tavern, so please do make an effort to support Paul and Indaco's. They really deserve every success.
