need a lawyer to sue tradesman who damaged sash

Hello

I very unfortunately need to find a lawyer that could help me sue a tradesman that has damaged a sash window, leaving it worse than when he came to 'repair' it and now becoming rather bully on the phone.

Have not paid yet (have not received an invoice yet) but will pay under protest and then proceed to sue

Anybody could please help me? Have (fortunately) not had to undergo this ever before

i would suggest you do not pay, try to sort it out with him and if you cannot let him take you to a small claims court to retrieve monies owed.

If you are genuinely in the right and have evidence to back this up ( photo's etc ) then the court should decide in your favour.

This is a lot cheaper than hiring a lawyer.

      Posted around 12 cards 2 weeks prior to 24th December. Had some responses so know people have received them. Had about 20 cards - mixture of hand delivered and via post. After years of 'nagging' by myself and our daughters, we may have cured hubby of spending £4 plus on individual cards for our immediate family  ( when you have 12 immediate family it costs a bomb) Also as the girls state, they get put in the recycling bad at beginning of January regardless of cost.

      There was a LETS scheme in ED and it ran for a couple of years or so. Trying to remember when it was pre 2000?  A couple of friends joined it, one did baby sitting for exchange for ironing, the other did small painting jobs or simple gardening. There was a set criteria regarding credits,
