need a lawyer to sue tradesman who damaged sash

Hello

I very unfortunately need to find a lawyer that could help me sue a tradesman that has damaged a sash window, leaving it worse than when he came to 'repair' it and now becoming rather bully on the phone.

Have not paid yet (have not received an invoice yet) but will pay under protest and then proceed to sue

Anybody could please help me? Have (fortunately) not had to undergo this ever before

i would suggest you do not pay, try to sort it out with him and if you cannot let him take you to a small claims court to retrieve monies owed.

If you are genuinely in the right and have evidence to back this up ( photo's etc ) then the court should decide in your favour.

This is a lot cheaper than hiring a lawyer.

      Thankfully he's better Sue, thanks to your usual sarcasm - can always rely on the fact you have nothing better to do than reply to every one of my posts. Clearly I'll have to change my ED forum name ๐Ÿ˜‰ Apologies to anyone offended. We've all eaten in this cafe many many times so I've put this down to a one off. Yes obviously kids get sick. Gosh I didn't realise when ED forum became so full of passive aggressive, sarcastic people. Won't be posting again in a hurry - cue the afore mentioned type of replies in response no doubt... Oh and this incident was most definitely the icecream or person serving it having dirty hands or gloves, as my son was fine after he was sick. So no bug.ย  For the avoidance of doubt nobody meant for this to affect any business, so once again apols for mentioning by name. Happy icecream eating everyone.

      Thanks for the offer of scanning but he is always far enough away from me so he doesn't let me touch him but if he gets more friendly I will contact you for help scanning. I'm also not on the streets WhatsAppย  or facebook groups so if anyone could repost the picture of this cat on these groups would be helpful . ย
