Balcony letting in water underneath balcony door threshold. Loss adjuster recommended flat roofing expert to fix. Looking for tradesmen to remedy. Recommendations? Tradespeople, please only get in touch if you are an expert and willing to write a diagnosis and remedial action for insurance purposes.
Hi we are getting our flat roof redone by County Flat Roofing who were recommended to me by an architect who uses them. Great product that lasts 50 years and they specialise in flat roofing! Call Paul Farrelly on 07973 414667 if you want a quote. Best of luck, I hate water problems!

Just a quick follow up post to say that we are very happy with County Flat Roofing. They did a great job and we really notice the huge improvement made by the insulation they put down. Highly recommend them! Happy to show their work to anyone. 3 neighbours subsequently used them after seeing the work they did for us!

    • Couldn't agree more with these great reviews for Paul and his colleague Damian. We had an issue in which our earth and live wires had been installed the wrong way and Damian fixed it quicky and for a really reasonable price. Would definitely use again
    • I had this problem. The only way I could resolve it was by phoning the number of the letter. I was set up over the phone having already registered for an account. The instructions on the letter are not correct as a code needs to be inputted. I do now have my permit.
    • A friend of mine was into "skill swap" about 40 years ago. It wasn't within an organised scheme, she just offered services like help with painting in exchange for services received. She upset some people as they carried out their services for a living, I.e. for money. An organised scheme sounds much better.
    • Gosh, that is a blast from the past.  Friends in York were into this, he was an accountant and had things like decorating done in exchange.  Not sure if it was equivalent in terms of hours, and I recall HMRC being interested as it was a way of tax avoidance.   A link for a London wide scheme but have no idea of its popularity: https://www.londonwide.letslink.org/members/index.php
