SeanHitz
Hello, I hope that this is the correct area, but I was hoping someone with experience of fitting IKEA kitchens might be able to answer a question for me. I'm trying to install the kitchen, and the instructions clearly say attach the rail on the kitchen wall at 820mm to the lowest point of the rail, then adjust all of the legs on the units appropriately to match the height and get it level. This is fine - my issue arises with the dishwasher. Its only 815mm high and doesn't have any legs....meaning that it is currently sitting 5cm shorter than the rest of the units. Can someone recommend what I should do here?Do I remove the rail and put it lower so all the other units match? Or put the dishwasher on legs (timber possibly)? The other question I have is notching/removing sections of the back of the units to fit pipes. Is this ok to do with IKEA units? Are they strong enough to take sections being removed from them?
