Barry Road (near the Clockhouse)

According to the man behind the counter at Pizza Pan, all of the shops on the parade are being knocked down and turned into flats? I am not sure if this will be the case for Roy Brooks and The Vets - as they seem quite newly refurbished.

Also, does anybody know what happened on Barry Road on Sunday afternoon - there was 2 fire engines (but no smoke) and police everywhere - in a house just opposite Turners Tyres??

It's a protected shopping frontage, so any redevelopment should include shops:
