Not East Dulwich but West Dulwich: Peace & Riot has rebranded as At No 12, and is now a conventional (but still family-friendly) coffee shop and wine bar. Because I'd never been in all the way before, I hadn't realised what a nice space they have. There's also a decent garden/deck. Definitely rocketing to top spot in my favoured W Dulwich places.

I really hope they keep the lovely old fashioned windows etc, but I fear they won't.

Pop in and suggest they keep them as a sign of continuity and respect for the area. (When the traditional Chinese remedy shop opposite the Plough moved in, the owners were going to rip it out but decided against it after they were told of their significance).

New apple tech shop just opened up on forest hill rd. excellent knowledgeable advice. Well worth a visit for all things apple.

Nisa doesn't own any stores. It's a franchise/fascia for independent grocery stores.

Regardless Billy, if the rumour is true then an independent started by Barry and his Brother over 40 years ago and grown organically is about to change hands, which is a shame for those that know and love it.

Adam's Cafe (39 Grove Vale, next to Cherry Tree pub) has been taken over by a couple of friendly young guys. Classic cafe food done nicely, and very reasonable prices.

Meanwhile, Tesco Metro in West Dulwich is closed for two weeks while they renovate in. Hopefully they can make it feel a little less gloomy.

It came from a couple of the traders on Lordship Lane - they suggested it was going into the Lila's jewellers site.
