Hi I'm Lorna and I am an Amatsu practitioner based at Goose Green Clinic on East Dulwich Road. I am developing my business and conducting some research into how I can enhance and improve my offering to my clients.

Do you know anyone who is held back by physical pain that impacts on their ability to life to the full? I am looking to interview 25 people and talk to them about their experience of pain and their worry about it. This will help me develop my services as an Amatsu practitioner to provide the best possible support. The interviews will be 30 minutes via phone or Skype and will be 100% confidential. As a thank you, participants will be welcome to a 30-minute Amatsu taster session held at my clinic in East Dulwich. To book in for an interview, simply email me at [email protected] with the word 'research' in the subject title, no other information needed. I'll get in touch to find a mutually convenient time to speak. This research will be invaluable in ensuring my services are useful and genuinely meet the needs of people who feel held back by their pain, so I am very grateful if you are able to forward this request to your friends, family or colleagues.

Amatsu is not widely known in the UK but it is a wonderfully effective treatment for physical pain. I work with lots of different types of people with conditions such as back, neck, knee or shoulder pain, whiplash or sporting/work realted injuries. My clients have often tried several other approaches before they discover Amatsu and these may not have worked or had the lasting effects they were hoping for. It is a hands-on treatment, but clients do not need to undress (as I assess using touch as opposed to sight)and there are no cracks or crunches - particularly reassuring if you are in lots of pain!

I will also be giving a free talk at 12 noon and low-cost taster sessions throughout the day this Saturday 11th Oct at Goose Green Clinic Open Day if you would like to come and meet me and have a chat. www.goosegreenclinic.net for more info.

Thank you so much and best wishes,

Lorna

PS please do not PM me but send a direct email to the above email address as it will be easier for me to arrange research conversations that way. You can also look at my (soon to be updated!) website www.lornaclansey.com if you would like to read more about Amatsu.

    • The BBC is one of the finest, if not the finest, broadcasters in the world.  They have been admired by many across the world for their journalism.  There have been numerous arrests since their recent expose on convenience shops that cover ups for criminals - money laundering, contraband,  illegal workers and the like. By no means perfect and some of what they have done in the modern world is questionable - the website often comes across as tabloid or sensationalist, as do some of their documentaries, and at times it is full of low grade game shows, fly on the wall etc which bring the punters and money, including overseas, in but is not quality TV.  In their desperation for 'balance' they've given too much air time and credibility to some more extreme views, which contributed to Brexit and some of the rise in right wing parties.  I wish they'd say 'the convicted criminal' every time they talk about Yaxley Lenon. The programme was clumsy, why it didn't go through proper clearance including the lawyers, I don't know.  But it created zero stir at the time. Zero.  And had no impact on the election, so Trump has no case.  I hope they don't cave in like many of the US corporations and media.  Oh and well done to South Park using the small p*nis defence in ridiculing him. What I expect is as the Beeb is pretty centrist in it;s reporting in riles some of those who thrive on the toxic populism we have seen since Trump mark 1 and Brexit.  How sad.
