Hi there. If you're talking about the half term sports academy they run, rather than the specifically football week, then my son has been. He's 5 and in year one now but he went too when he was four and in reception (he's young for his year). They change activity all the time - in kind of lesson-length sessions, and do dodgeball, athletics, football skills, among other things, and drawing if they get too tired! It's organised in classes according to age (and I think how many kids turn up) - if they are full capacity, the groups are split the same as yeargroups. My son isn't particularly footie mad, and wasn't the best at anything, and still managed to have an utter blast. You can opt into extra activities like swimming or trampolining, which happen off-site and cost extra. As far as I gathered, there were other kids around his age.

Sorry if you're talking about the specifically football week though, as I've not experienced that one!

Hi,

They do multi-sports Academy as well as football Camp in half term.

Here's the link to book online:

My son has always had fun there doing multi-sports and football - it is cheaper than JAGS football (though he loves that too!).

Oh and just to say - certainly in the multi-sports, there is always a mixture of ages, boys and girls!

The day is also longer than at JAGS which is helpful for juggling work!!

PM me if you get stuck on the website - I do have a phone number for one of the guys that run it.

    • Disagree. Where are the police when you need them? People want a police presence, they want to feel reassured by seeing them do what the word suggests, policing, so go catch some bad guys, arrest, charge and get the CPS to prosecute with the evidence to enable this to happen. Stabbing and shootings are so common place they no longer even get reported in the public domain. How many crimes don't get solved? Rather case closed and forgotten. The number of low to high level crimes which remain unsolved is staggering.  The criminal fraternity know this, they know they won't get caught so they just carry on.  Biggest crimes which affect most people, probably are phone and car theft, both are prolific and what do the police do, diddly squat. zilch, nothing, provide a crime reference number and the case is closed. Not good enough, not by a country mile.   Met Engage? I don't think so.

Recent data suggests a drop in violent crime. Gang violence will make a significant contribution to the numbers. You are unlikely to be attacked by a stranger
    • Unfortunately there are plenty of shops which don't care and will sell vapes, alcohol and weed to minors, I'm sure they won't care about selling them fireworks. Or the kids nick them.
    • It’s getting a bit annoying. We’ve a nervous dog who trembles when they go off. I know to expect it around Halloween and Diwali but it seems to be happening more through the year.
