Anyone know 'Blow my Mind' from Blackstreet? Well, who sang the orginal? think it came out about 20 years ago? can't seem to find from Google

According to www.allmusic.com... "U Blow My Mind" was written by Chauncey Hannibal/Dave Hollister/Teddy Riley. It is not a cover, The Blackstreet version is the original.

"Blow My Mind" was by Big Brother and the Holding Company (Janis Joplin was their singer), but this was written by Jimmy McCrackin.

I'm pretty sure Blackstreet did it first (1994). It samples the Gap Band's "Outstanding" from 1982 - maybe that's what you're thinking of?

Yes, maybe the version I heard yesterday was a different Blackstreet version to the one on my album. It sounded more dated than the Blackstreet version I know.
