sallyfran
Has anybody tried the low FODMAPS diet for IBS? Did it help? Any tips? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/50715-fodmaps-diet/ Share on other sites
melbourne groover
Hmm gave the app a go but suspect lack of real success down to my haphazard following of it. I have found pysillium husks to be the best thing lately....The fodmap diet does sound reasonable though. Dulwich Born And Bred
I found the auto immune paleo diet excellent for controlling my IBS and other health conditions. RoLo1
Yes, I know a 5 year old who had terrible IBS, started this and not only is the IBS under control, but he has started growing (his parents are both tall, yet he looked 3/4 years old). He is able to take spelt and tiny bits of wheat (eg. in a Kinder type bar), but cutting out all the wheat and apples etc has made a huge difference to him.
