Cafe on the Rye

Can anyone throw any light on the building work going on near the car park in Peckham Rye Park? A friend reckons they are building a cafe. If so, 'bout time - it's just what the place needs to finish off the recents improvements.

citizen - there should be a cafe on the way in time for this summer (though that seems to have already arrived), and there's ?100k to sort out the derelict paddling pool nearby (on the east side of the common) - good news :-)

Here's some info I found about the cafe tender a year or so ago.

Also saw a sign on the adventure playground (in the top corner, up by the skate ramps) that it was being regenerated and due to reopen in June.
