I read somewhere that on average houses sell for 7% below asking. My own experience with agents suggest that's true. They tell sellers the list at X and hopefully they will get X-y in a normal market.


Obviously 2013 and early 2014 the market went crazy in London. The average asking price for a well-presented 3 bed terraced house in a central ED location went from circa 600k to 875k!
