I am selling our gorgeous blue baby bjorn carrier Air in dark blue as per the photograph. It is in perfect condition as this was the spare one that we kept at our grandparents so it has been hardly used. I have however washed it so it is sparkling clean and smells nice. ?30

Also we are finally selling our Maxi-Cosi Cabriofix car seat in intense red and the Universal Isofix base in lovely condition for ?60 (the base was originally ?90 and the car seat was ?135. The car seat is two years old although we only used it for one as it has been at my mothers house since we bought the new one and I have only just managed to fit it in the car and bring it back to London.

Both items from a pet free smoke free home.

    • Because of the weather which delayed completion with roofer only being able to work certain days, it was up from November - end of January. Went slightly higher than gutters (we also had guttering replaced).
    • It's tough being a courier and the pay which is largely based on the number they deliver is miserable. Hence the staff turnover is high. EFRI was previously branded as HERMES but they had to create a new brand name because of poor performance. We get regular courier deliveries and EVRI are by far the worst. They just drop the parcel at the front door - often without ringing the bell. But worst is when they deliver to the equivalent door number on LL instead of ours on EDG. Best are ParcelForce, DHL and DPD by a wide margin.
    • I know the couple you mean, and she has always been friendly and smiley when delivering to me, but obviously in a hurry, for all the reasons outlined in the thread. My gate is always open, however (unless someone coming to the house closes it when they leave). I can't see the point of gates that have to be opened and shut again every time someone comes to the house. It just seems a waste of time, and it's annoying if you are carrying stuff. And a closed gate  conveys a sort of "my house is my fortress" feel. To me, anyway.
    • Thanks for posting this. Really interesting. It would be good if you added a star rating, so that it was easier to do comparisons / see what your top recommendations are. Great blog though!
