Yes it is happening in Dulwich Village, at the Christ's Chapel.

Alleyn's and DC CCFs will be there in numbers (especially Alleyn's). Probably best to be in position outside the chapel by about 1020. Or you could watch them arrive by standing in College Road, and then move inside the grounds. The service is short, and all outside.

Probably best to avoid Calton Avenue, the village and College Road that morning as the traffic will be seriously held up as the cadets march there and back.

You could have quiet personal 11am reflection at one of our local war graves.

Or you could attend the more humble East Dulwich memorial. Last year the police closed the South Circular for the two minutes silence to make the service safer.

There will probably also be remembrances at East Dulwich Hospital and at St John the Evangelist.

    • Yes I agree, that's why I specifically said "re the wildlife"!
    • Maggie Browning a DH councillor recently had a baby and I believe plans to return to work. I think that to have the additional stress of  being a councillor, a new mother and having a job is a good reason for not standing again. Maggie was one of the few labour councillors who were approachable, acted on your behalf in regards to several concerns and appeared at various public events i.e Police SNT Meetings, community events etc. Have met one of the new prospective councillors and introduced her to various community based organisations.
    • Hello, I’m currently looking to buy Jellycat soft toys and LEGO sets for my children. If you have any available for sale, please feel free to message me. Thank you!
    • Useful link, thanks. I see that neither of the Dulwich Hill councillors are standing again but one of the new Labour candidates for DH recently left the Lib Dems… The Greens are led by someone who left the Lib Dems and full of people who left Labour. Reform is full of those who left the Tories. And the Tories are full of those who left our planet some time ago. Confused? You will be!
