Antenatal classes

Hi

I'm expecting my first baby in early May and have been advised to get booked on to an antenatal class as soon as possible. I'm not sure whether to go for NCT East Dulwich or Ariadne Sole's Bump, Birth and Beyond classes.

If anyone has any wisdom or opinions they'd be willing to share I'd be most grateful as I feel a bit clueless & overwhelmed!

Definitely Ariadna, we went to her classes over the summer. Shorter course than the NCT but same content. Ariadna is very personable and approachable. We had a great home birth for our first born and are thankful for the guidance and practical advice Ariadna gave. I would recommend the saturday classes as not as tired and time for shared lunches afterwards. Do PM if you have any other questions.

      Hello East Dulwich families 👋 I wanted to introduce myself to the community. I’m a professional family & wedding photographer with 14+ years of experience, and I split my time between the US and London throughout the year. I’ll be based in London for the coming weeks and would love to photograph more local families here in East Dulwich. My approach is very relaxed and natural — no stiff posing, no pressure — just real connection, movement, and the beautiful everyday moments that tell your family’s story. I work especially well with kids and parents who feel “awkward” in front of the camera (which honestly is most of us!). Sessions can take place at home, in the park, on your favourite street, or anywhere that feels meaningful to you. The goal is to create images that feel like your life — not a photoshoot. If anyone has been thinking about documenting this season with their children, I’d love to connect, answer questions, or simply share examples of my work. No pressure at all — just happy to be here and meet some neighbours.       I don't! But I've also taken to calling myself David, as it seems to shorten the odds of achieving something in life. It's not King Dave, Dave Lloyd George, Dave Hockney, Dave Bowie or Dave Hasselhoff is it? And I'm not sure Michelangelo would have had such success if he'd called his sculpture 'Dave'.

      I think there is still a shoes/clothes recycling bank outside of North Dulwich station.

      I'm not so sure the collection team are that bothered anymore.  Two houses either side of me are rented and the tenants just chuck their rubbish - mostly bagged - in the blue or green bins depending on which has space in, not based on what it is.  The blue bins are always emptied.
