Eos - The Greek goddess of dawn

I (under my "Handcrafted by Pippa" guise) have donated a raffle prize for this event. Ari works hard to arrange these events on a regular basis, and it's for a great cause - come along!

You can win a hand knitted hat of your choice, here's an example of my work being modelled by my little assistant :)

New stalls and only one week to go!

Motives cosmetics and handmade sweets have now joined our charity event. Remember, it is necessary to book by emailing [email protected] (please provide contact number and number of guests).

Help us make this initiative successful, to sustain Solace.

Many thanks to all

    • Shame, that's a bit boring. At least the Poundland fulfilled the need of cheap basic toiletries.
    • Andy Burke Plumber  December 2025 Andy was recommended and I'm so glad he was! I generally don't like inviting strangers into my home for any reason really but when you have a repair you have no choice. Andy is a kind, very pleasant  decent guy. But most of all he's, trustworthy, very knowledgeable and extremely conscientious about his work! He wants to solve the problem for you and keep the customer happy. He was very kind to work around my schedule to sort my repairs. I live alone and I'm very comfortable in his company. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. He's what you want in a tradesman. Someone who's decentand really talented. I'm so glad I crossed paths with him. Andy goes the extra mile to resolve your issue. Don't think twice, just book him!! 07983 688451
    • I walked by Honest Burger around lunchtime today and they had just opened. They haven’t publicly promoted the opening yet because they were focusing on the building work, but the guy I spoke to was really friendly.  They’re giving away free lemonade as an opening promotion and mentioned that residents should download their app because they can get a free meal after buying a certain number of meals.  Sounds like they also do takeaway as well. I told him that Honest had been trending on the EDF, so I would post about today’s opening.
    • Do you think Donald has managed to get the gold foil off yet and eat the chocolate inside?
