Well if you come along to our wonderful Christmas shopping event on Saturday 22nd November you can find out just how much has been done to bring the halls back to life and what the future holds for this beautiful building. We have sourced the best in vintage traders and crafters selling all sorts of quirky one off items from gifts for baby and the proud parents to a pressie for your Nan, or your beloved, something for everyone!! Delicous offerings from Lovesome Cakes and Eat and Mess too, you can spoil yourself and have a tea or coffee from the cafe to compliment the tasty treats on sale, Entertain the children by visiting our face painter (Auntie Jacqueline always has extras like hair clips, and she loves a bit of glitter) and be serenaded by Vintage DJ rpm (Rosie plays music) with her original 78rpm records and gramophones playing some festive tunes amongst the Jazz and Rock N Roll.

    • I had this same query the other week - Mediquip no longer cover Southwark and I believe the company when bankrupt? Anyway, after some digging, I found the news on the adult social care page of Southwark Council website.  The new supplier of medical equipment that is issued to Southwark residents via an OT from the council or the NHS is Provide Equipment Hub.  I emailed them about returning two items and they did promptly respond and came and picked up the items the following week.  Email them at [email protected] Importantly, they will come and do urgent repairs of equipment like hospital beds.  I'm surprised that Southwark haven't made this change more widely known as it will impact many vulnerable residents.
