Alan Medic
http://www.transforminglives.co.uk/prices/finance/?source=promo&page=nose-surgeryMight be worth checking this out as they offer 0% finance deals. Alternatively if you have two credit cards with sufficient limits you could transfer the amount from one to the other if the other offers a 0% rate for x number of months (I think a lot of cards do though they charge a small percentage of the amount as a fee). Alan Medic
No. I had to spend ?5k on something of that nature recently which I couldn't afford.ETANot on me in case you were wondering. That would be a waste of money. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/51638-can-someone-recommend-a-plastic-surgeon/#findComment-800211 Share on other sites
Siduhe
I can't help with a recommendation for a rhinoplasty, but I did have to consult a plastic surgeon for something completely different recently (large, facial mole removal). My advice would be to ask anyone you're planning to use, not just to give you glossy testimonials but ask if they have previous clients who would be prepared to speak with you about their experience of the procedure you want to have, or would provide a no-names but specific recommendation for the procedure. It was quite surprising to me but a number of the surgeons I consulted flat out refused to show me "real client" before and after pictures or would even consider consulting their previous clients to ask them to give a recommendation I could see. I went with a surgeon whose office was prepared to do this, and I've been extremely happy with the results. Siduhe
Not if the patient consents - I certainly wouldn't expect any info to be shared without that. However, my surgeon asked me if I was happy to share my before and after as she does with all her patients (which I was). And I'd also be happy to give her a recommendation if she contacted me and asked me if I would be willing to speak to a prospective patient. Most people wouldn't hire a builder or architect without asking to see photos of previous jobs, and I'm considerably more concerned about how my face looks than my house! Plenty of my clients ask for references when they first instruct me. It just really surprised me that some surgeons/clinics point blank refused to even consider how they could provide me with any evidence of how the procedure I needed would be in practice.
