One of my favourite horror films is Zombies Dawn of the Dead. The director George A.Romero is well documented as saying it had an underlying parody regarding consumerism. I particularly remember one bit of dialogue between a couple of the leads.

"Why do these people come here?"

"Because it's all they know and have"

There's black friday in a nutshell!!

It's obvious some people have never been to a jumble sale - those little old ladies will spear your spleen and take your knees out for first crack at the bric-a-brac.
