I?m perfectly comfortable with my age thank you Kel. I even have a grey hair which I have been nurturing for I think it makes me look distinguished.

Wax, gum and paste all sound unhygienic. I would rather have remained ignorant of these newfangled products with which the youth and those who aspire to youthfulness choose to foul their barnets.

We used to use gelatine. You need proper long hair though for some proper big spikes.

They wouldn?t let me in Adwassitname with my hair like that. It was purple then too.

Well if it's hair product, I had a serious Black & White 'Pluko' addiction. I'd alternate it with La India brilliantine just to ring the changes.

Anyone on here of Caribbean origin may know of these products. Basically if your grandfather used it then so did I.

Of course I had the good taste to lose my hair in my late thirties, thank heavens.

It was never going to be good enough to carry on with after that.

It's fine TMIB, you just did. Thanks for that.

So, Adventure, when you venture in there, do you favour a Wattie from The Exploited punk-style cockscomb or an Isaac Hayes shaven-headed look?

I know which way I'll be voting.

    • I'm sure they have good reasons, yet safety for the residents who pay the CT should be a priority. £63 million on Other Services?
    • Southwark Council have a £70m budget shortfall over the next three years, largely driven by the raising cost of adult social care, children’s social care and homelessness. I am sure they’d like to prioritise street cleaning more, but this isn’t realistic. If you’re interested in a breakdown of how they spend their money, the headlines are here:  https://www.southwark.gov.uk/council-tax/how-we-manage-council-tax/our-budget-and-how-we-spend-council-tax/our-income-and I’m sure there are areas where the council could make better decisions or be more efficient, but they’re working in a very challenging financial context.
    • Would you not expect clean streets to be a priority? Rather than suggesting those in Southwark pay more, would it not be more relevant that Southwark actually prioritise it and explain what they are spending our money on.
    • Batter than closing the whole line down all weekend which they do very often on that line.
