Recommendation for Yoga - Kundalini

Not sure if you?ve tried Kundalini yoga (a slightly different form using a lot of traditional yoga postures with an amazing deep meditative relaxation at the end) but I can highly recommend my teacher, Emma. I really find her to be inspirational, she?s brilliant but doesn?t do any marketing so I?ve decided to write this! I?ve been doing it for years and had numerous teachers and she really stands out. She has a couple of Dulwich evening classes and one daytime. Her Contact details [email protected] or 07584 067878

I also recommend Natalie Fishwick http://nataliefishwick.co.uk/

My partner and I go to her classes on Monday evenings at Dulwich Fusion but she also does other classes. She's the only yoga instructor my partner has liked so far - because she's fun and not intimidating or judgmental if you can't do everything perfectly.

Kundalini Yoga ? just had to write again about the awesome Emma, my teacher. I had an incredible class and journey last night. After a very energetic kriya/set, in the shavasana (final relaxation/meditation) my body felt as if it had just dissolved completely ? one of my deepest experiences ever. No better way to enhance your path!
I've not had the pleasure of Emma's classes, but I can add another enthusiastic endorsement of Natalie's classes, Natalie is very talented and has a great sense of humour, which helps. I think kundalini generally is fairly powerful stuff, and I've yet to find a kundalini instructor I didn't like, they're a great bunch of lads.

    • Hey - I’ve got a spare adult ticket if you want it?
    • Not sure what you mean by "involved with firework enjoyment"? I'm all for others enjoying themselves, and I like fireworks, but if they were limited to public displays then people could still enjoy them? Having said that, I see that tickets for the London New Year fireworks start at £20 (Dawson's Heights it is,  then!) The fireworks in Brockwell Park used to be free. I don't know why those don't happen any more?
    • Really interesting discussion here. It's difficult to respect the views of people who support Farage, Trump, Musk etc. Why should we, when their views are deplorable. But then that exact 'deplorable' label, as we know, is counterproductive and drives people to double down / switch off to more progressive views. How do you actually help change minds? We're currently spiralling into dark places culturally and politically imo. The amount of open racism, even amongst front line politicians here and in the US is astounding to me. Feels like we're going backwards. The influence of social media and the tech billionaires / bros, is a powerful and largely malignant one. There was an enlightening (and frightening) bit of journalism by Sky this week about Musk's influence on British politics. He has a strange obsession with the UK and London in particular (as do many on the US right wing): https://news.sky.com/story/the-x-effect-how-elon-musk-is-boosting-the-british-right-13464487
