Any Ideas?? We are looking for musician to hire for NY eve...

Recommended Posts

Could anyone please recommed a piano player for our event: my family are coming to stay with us at Herne Hill and we would like to hire a musician to play for us on the NY eve to make it a special evening! We have a piano in our living room. Any referrals would be much appreciated !!! Also, any ideas of what one would charge for about 2 hours ?

A friend of mine Max Rush (also living in Herne Hill) is a pianist who does paid gigs, you could try him? I've only heard him play jazz piano, but I'm sure he must play other things too!

I don't know whether he'd want to be away from his family on New Year's Eve, though, and I have no idea what he would charge.

You can contact him on [email protected]

He's also a photographer if you wanted some pics of the occasion too!

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
