Field for Marquee Wedding

Hello - Wondering whether anyone has any info or knowledge on renting a field or space to hold a marquee/tipi wedding in South London/Surrey (East Dulwich or surrounding area would be a dream but I know highly unlikely!)

We're after somewhere that we can basically do what we want - i.e bring in external caterers and other suppliers. Have one lined up further out in Surrey but thought i'd see if anyone had any good local knowledge so we could keep things a bit closer to home (not that Surrey is the end of the universe!)

Thanks all.

Check out this blog - they have a directory of spaces where you can hold a wedding just like that http://festivalbrides.co.uk/venuesland-hire

I've also photographed weddings at this venue http://www.wiseweddingvenue.co.uk, it's in Kent so not super local but I guess it is going out this side of London.

I also came across this place in one of those Cool Camping books - they are in Epping http://debdenhouse.com/campsite-epping-forest.html but have no idea if they'd be able to facilitate you but they do do functions etc.

Thanks so much for suggestions so far.

Savage - that looks like a great shout, am definitely going to enquire.

KidKruger - South coast is slightly far I think but thanks anyway.

Bluelagoon - i've comeacrossfestivalbrides.co.uk and it's really good. I was considering wiseweddingvenues a few weeks ago, maybe i'll look into it again, looks fab.

Otta - I think Dulwich college does too but unfortunately charge an extortionate rate!

Keep them coming : )

Yep, more than likely.

How about calling up some sports clubs like The Griffin. No idea if they'd go for it, but they certainly have the space.

    • The purge of hard left members that were part of Corbyn's, Mcdonnel's and Lansmans momentum that purged the party of right wing and centrist members. That's politics. It's what Blair did to win, its what Starmer had to do to win. This country doesn't vote in extreme left or right governments. That's partly why Corbyn lost  We're pretty much a centrist bunch.  It doesn't make it false either. It's an opinion based on the voting patterns, demography and statistics. Can you explain then why former mining constituencies that despise the tories voted for them or abstained rather than vote for Corbyns Labour?  What is the truth then? But he never got elected!!! Why? He should have been binned off there and then. Why he was allowed to hang about is an outrage. I hold him party responsible for the shit show that we've had to endure since.

    • I do hope NOT, wouldn't trust Farage as far as I could throw him, Starmer & co.  He's backed by GB News which focus's predominantly on immigration while the BBC focus predominantly on the Israel - Gazza conflict.
