Lots of sparrows down Green Dale this morning, on both sides

Three sparrows came and had a hearty breakfast this morning!

Wonder if Nature arranges a gathering of different flocks to widen the gene pool? Very happy to see them back, especially on such a dreich morning.

Mine have returned I counted ten yesterday in my overgrown blackthorn bush. Who I haven't seen recently is the Jays ?
