Bus Strike announced

Thousands of bus workers at 18 companies in London are to strike on January 13 in a dispute over pay, the Unite union announced.

The London Regional Officer for Unite is called Wayne King. He must have had a tough time at school.

Yes,apparently there is a discrepancy of up to ?3 per hour between the rates of pay. Apart from at peak times they are mostly empty!

Bus is mainly my transport of choice at the moment. They are packed at peak times, sure, but they're certainly not empty outside those hours.

Ditto trains and, of course, cars at all times.

I think ours went on strike today "the destination of this bus has changed" - then out we all get at Elephant in the pouring rain.

Next bus is full.

Nothing new, it will be the tube next, something that we have come to expect, as some people have no choice, and they know it! Would it not be nice to hold a city at ransom for extra money just when you feel like it? Not!
