Painter/decorator required for making good a ceiling

I would definitely recommend Dave Sutherland who did all the plastering and painting at my house. I have also recommended him to several friends locally who have all been really pleased with his work.

He is reasonable, friendly and does a great job. Over the past 3 years he has done lots of decorating work for me.

He can be contacted on 07951 810 251.

Cant recommend anyone based on ceiling experience, but we recently moved into a new property in West Dulwich and the sash windows were in terrible condition. We used a chap called Darren Feltham (who I found on this forum) to strip them back to the bare wood, cut out and replace all the rotten parts, and then repaint.

Cant recommend him highly enough. The work was done to a very high standard and Darren was friendly, punctual, clean and very competitively priced. Windows look like new now

His contact details are 07956 490548, email [email protected]

Hi

If you still need a decorator I am local and available to quote. If you click on the links they'll take you to recommendations I've had on this and the Herne Hill forums.

All the best

    • I'm wondering why they would do that? Because surely positive reviews could only help them, and if they thought they might get negative reviews, shouldn't they have been addressing the reasons that might be (unless someone had an unwarranted grudge against them)? But in any case, how could they have stopped people posting reviews on here? PS I have corrected your typo! 😃
    • Agreed. Just stating as a historic fact they tried to stiffle reviews.
    • A quick assessment on having a barter scheme amongst the community. An exchange of goods and services may be really helpful during these difficult times.    I wonder if it’s something that someone would be willing to set up separately and link to the forum? Or perhaps  an additional aspect of the forum itself if it was easy to include? I don’t have IT knowledge to set this up unfortunate, but I do have skills that I could offer. From past experience, it would probably work best as a direct exchange rather than coupon credit.    I may be flaunting the rules by posting on this twice, admin please feel free to delete one if this is the case.
