uncleglen
Yes, they know they are doing wrong because they do it late at night. Some years ago a local, now closed, cafe dumped all their metal cookers one night - I daresay because they would have to pay for removal as they were a business. Mustard
I think there are a lot of people who just don't know about this service, and therefore don't call. Not all local authorities offer this service, so if you moved from another borough you might not be aware. Minitoots
And my neighbour had someone dump several bags of takeaway food boxes and other rubbish in his front yard. They accidentally left an envelope with their name and address on it- you know who you are in Bawdale road!!Here's the link to Southwark's 'bulky waste' dept - free collection. http://www.southwark.gov.uk/info/200084/recycling_and_waste/1667/bulky_waste_collection Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/53479-fly-tipper-alert/#findComment-815968 Share on other sites
Ladygooner
You can report this online to the council and ask them to remove items even if they are not yours Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/53479-fly-tipper-alert/#findComment-815988 Share on other sites

Nigello
Minitoots - Tell your neighbour to report them! Better still, take the trash back to them. It's the only way! katanita
Just a word of caution about assuming you've caught the culprit, it is possible that thieves trying to get personal information from people's rubbish have grabbed the bags, had a rifle through, and then dumped them later. That's what seems to have happened on a previous thread where someone was accused, and it's also what I think happened to a load of rubbish dumped near me that looked like it had been gone through. Bloody annoying though either way. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/53479-fly-tipper-alert/#findComment-816359 Share on other sites
