Question Time at liquorish

Did anyone see the Question Time panel having dinner at liquorish? We were having a drink and they all waltzed in with David Dimbleby chairing a large table. Great to see ED hosting the party..!

So does QT actually happen on the day it's broadcast? Is it live?

Apparently it filmed earlier in the day...

It's recorded from about 8pm until 9pm on Thursday and then broadcast from something like 10:30pm on Thursday so it's not broadcast live.

But it is recorded "as live". i.e. once they start recording, they don't stop or re-shoot anything. They record for 1 hour and broadcast a 1 hour show. Nothing is edited out (in comparison to most panel shows which record 2 or 3 times more material than is actually broadcast).

Actually that's not strictly true. They do film for more than an hour and they do edit the take a little altho for more info you could try reading the other thread on this Question Time :)-D

They may say otherwise but from experience I tell ya that's how it is - We had them film in our venue last year and they happily told us how it was all done :)
