  1. Great recommendations, many thanks
  2. Hi, We've got 3 nights to escape the kids in Feb, and are undecided to where is the best compromise between getting some reasonable warm weather (it's been a while) and the length of the flight. If anyone has any destination and good hotel recommendations we'd love to hear from you Thanks

  8. Terrible luck, but my 3 year old developed a raging temperature and was sick last night meaning that we cannot go to the Olympic Park and Orbit today. We have 2 adult and 1 child ticket from 10 to 3 and Orbit at 1pm today Long shot, but does anyone have a swap for another day? It's our only chance to attend so would make our day Thanks Tom
  9. Evening, Can any local experts advise on the best survey option for us, we are buying a 30s house with not much alteration or renovation done apart from a single storey side extension. As well as the usual wiring / plumbing and structure concerns we are worried about a v large tree in the back garden. Will a full buildings survey cover this, or are we better off going for a cheaper survey and getting a tree specialist? Not really sure if the buildings survey is worth the extra cash? Any thoughts? Thanks
  10. The first seedless grapes were kind of an accident. Thousands of years ago in the Middle East, a random genetic mutation caused a group of grapes to spontaneously abort their own seeds before the seeds could develop hard casings. The result: seedless produce. To reproduce the fruit, a sly farmer simply cloned the vine (with no seeds, there?s nothing to plant)?meaning that all seedless grapes today are direct descendants of that one mutated grape vine.
  11. Nobody has mentioned Ganapati, v good south Indian food. The Bellenden shops are also close to Warwick Gardens. Living In the area is handy to walk to Peckham Library, and Peckham Pulse. Wouldn't want to live anywhere else in this area.

    Petrol

Any local petrol stations to avoid because of silly queues at the moment? Need to fill up for a long journey but could leave it until the morning. Thanks
  13. Have spoken to 3 or 4 and had them round for a valuation. They usually are upbeat in Spring but more so in the last few months. Lack of good property on the market and more awareness of local factors like the overground extension from P. Rye maybe?
