tommy replied to James Barber's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Can you do anything to fill in the potholes on Adys Road - pretty bad, all the way past the church, school and as far up as Nutbrook Road Have tried a few times with the council, but to no avail Thanks -
for best results use your hand to check water is boiled

steaks at room temp - dab any moisture off steaks with kitchen paper while you get the pan hot - brush a little oil on steaks and a bit of pepper, fry in the dry pan for 2-3 mins depending on steak thickness and taste, rest for 2-3 mins while the M&S ultimate mash does its stuff in the microwave open bottle of good argentinian merlot - consume while watching "In The Thick of it" or "Curb your enthusiasm"

Congrats (?!) Barry on taking on London Bridge - hopefully it is in recognition of your fine work (but hopefully you will not be taken away from us...)

Yes, hope people can join the facebook group, and also voice their opinions to Boris http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=5610272863&ref=ts How can political parties claim green credentials, and investment in infrastructure for the poorest London boroughs (where not everyone can afford a car) and cut the rail services... --------------------------- Markjonathan Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Hi Barry, > > There is a fantastic train service from Peckham > Rye direct to St Pancras International but as far > as I can see it doesn't come up on the big > indicator board above the ticket office at P'Rye > so you have to look on the smaller screen. All good tips - many thanks. You know how it is when you're stuck in a routine...

My 9 month old is not a great eater - but particular bad at breakfast time. Most days she refuses her baby porridge - and usually only has one or two spoons of yogurt (which she normally loves). The only thing that she seems to like is banana - but nothing else. Have tried giving a little milk when she wakes, not giving her any milk until after breaskfast, different consistencies of porridge, different brands, types, etc. During the day she's a good milk drinker - but can be a bit hit and miss with solids (either finger food or spoon fed) Any tips to get some carbs down her. She is underweight, so it'd be great for her to have a good meal at the start of the day. Thanks

Good thread. Would be interesting to know why people don't post - can't be bothered, the forums not the same as it was in 1856, haven't got time, find it intimidating, only interesting in buying cheap stuff and relisting on ebay, don't feel they have anything to contribute, etc

Why I don't bet on transfer speculation http://goal.com/en/news/9/england/2009/07/09/1373605/leading-bookmaker-slashes-odds-on-franck-ribery-joining Current odds are as good as his picture

Best of both worlds - short walk to the best transport in the area (P Rye station) and also Lordship Lane. Down the road from a couple of Tesco Metros, Peckham Rye Park / Common, Goose Green, Sam's Kebabs, Rye Hotel, Ganapati, and lots more

I wonder what the odds of Michael Owen signing for Manure were at the start of the week...

Amazing night - not often that you say "wow" to an event in Peckham Rye. This was one of them (I took these snaps earlier) The exhibition and bar / cafe will be there for the next three months - free event and down to earth pricing for food and booze. Amazing views, sculptures / installations and atmosphere. I've got nothing to do with the event, but an interest in promoting Peckham Rye and what people like Hannah Barry can achieve Just take the lifts at the Peckham Plex to the 6th floor / parking there as well http://www.hannahbarry.com/exhibition.php?exhibid=39&page=39 http://www.frankscafe.org.uk/
