I have gone after deer in NY state many many moons ago. Whilst I very much enjoyed the tracking and the stalking I had to close my eyes when it came to the kill, I doubt I'll hunt deer again. In Britain I've shot fowl ad hoc with mixed results but that was much more fun.

Finally I've also went after foxes on horseback. That was barrels of fun although I dare say that the horse knew more about what was going on than I did.

May try foxes and fowl again, deer are just far too cute (but tasty).

I'd happily hunt and waste some of those s**gs in Prisons.

Save the honest taxpayer about 100 large a year, as well.

Not keen, at all, on killing any innocent Animal, I have to say.

If I lived in the heart of the Country I might have a different perspective.

    • Well thanks for enriching the conversation.  Would you chuck Fah - rage in too for his tax avoidance on his property?   I expect it was lead story on Jeremy Vine too.  Doesn't make it a story, just a bit more of BBC tabloid style sensationalism.  There are numerous real news stories in the UK and across the world.  And now, apt for Halloween, you have summoned up the ghost of Louisa. So for the third time, will you now eat humble pie?
