Recommendation for great interior designer

I would like to recommend Cecile Bell. She hast just designed a couple of rooms for us and we are delighted! Her attention to detail (she really went beyond the brief for us, proposing up to 4 bespoke designs for our existing built in wardrobe's handles, which indeed will transform them completely without spending much at all), understanding of what we wanted, subtle use of colour and the way everything ties in really exceeded our expectations. I must admit I hesitated a lot before hiring her as it felt really indulgent and a bit extravagant to hire an interior designer. I like to think that I'm quite good at interior design myself but the truth is I don't have the time it requires to pull it off and now that I've seen her designs I realise how much a professional interior designer has to offer. I couldn't have never come up with such a lovely scheme!

Her number is: 00 44 7941 469495 / email: [email protected]

I am halfway through a project with Cecile at the moment. She has produced some wonderful ideas to transform 2 rooms in my house including an ingenious idea to 'zone' a playroom so that it has a variety of uses. She's worked within a restricted budget and been adaptable to the changes I've had to make.

I'll post again once the project is completed. Would not hesitate to recommend Cecile.

    • DKH was two form entry, it is now one form entry to cope with the fact it was far more under subscribed than other schools in the area. They had actually combined year groups into single classes, 3/4 and 5/6.  When a school changes name, it’s usually because of a bad reputation perhaps the results.  The new name is dry with no history unlike its current name. It’s a very sketchy decision. It’s an expensive vanity project for someone.  What  will happen if the name change does not increase applications to the school?
    • @first mate I assume Alice made a mistake, as she removed her reaction.  I was wondering about park wardens. As I said, there was one there last night, who was incredibly helpful and proactive. As well as bringing me to the police, he caught up with a young guy on a bike who'd earlier been the victim of an attempted theft by these kids and linked him up with the police too. But I do wonder, as I've only very occasionally seen him riding around, how many they have and what hours they patrol. I've no doubt they'd be a strong deterrent if they had a better presence. They were nowhere to be seen the first time around.  Update: I've just found this: https://services.southwark.gov.uk/community-safety/community-wardens The guy in the photo at the bottom of the page was the lovely warden of last night and I've just now remembered him telling me he's based in Burgess Park. Anyway, there needs to be more of them, as I rarely see one in Peckham.
    • Some of us oldies would associate Grove with the old Grove Vale School (which I went to in the 1950s)
