Are there any maths workshops for children?

I would like my daughter to join a math's club to rinforce what she learns at school; are there any clubs around? I am not looking for kumon or tutor.

There is an explore learning centre at Sainsburys in New Cross.

Is Kumon not very good then? Or are they just full?

Could not find anything. I think the only option is a tutor; some people have found kumon useful. We have not tried it so can't tell. I know there is a math group at Alleyns on Saturdays for some southwark primaries but I don't think it is open to everybody and the primary schools select who should attend.

I have seen an Explore centre and the kids are based at computers which isn't really what I'm after.

I'll see if there are any local tutors that may consider a group of 2 or 3 children to split the cost.

I am a qualified primary school teacher who is offering private tuition to children aged 4-11. I can teach Maths, reading and writing on a one to one or two to one basis or in a small group. I already teach a number of children in this local area.

I have Mondays and Wednesdays available around 5.15-6.15pm.

If there were enough chiildren of around the same age I would be happy to plan a scheme of work and teach a group of children.
