I know a really handy carpenter/odd job man, his name is Duvan and he's really polite and friendly and very reliable. He fitted a kitchen for me and hang some doors for my friend and for my other friend he fitted some shelves and did some odd jobs around the house. If he can't do something, he will just say. His number is 07508616298. You can call me if you have any questions on 07920197380.

Hi,

We used Douglas Hathaway recently (who has many reviews on here if you search for him) and he was great. Very tidy, efficient and great value for money. We are really pleased with his work and our new wardrobes. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and will certainly contact him if we have any work to do in the future.

Thanks,

Lucy

He has completed several jobs in our place, including building a pretty much exact replica of an existing Victorian alcove cupboard in the empty alcove of the other side of the chimney breast - then he extended the existing victorian fitted cupboard out by a foot to ensure modern clothes hangars actually fit!

Im happy to supply a reference if needed

    • The Sky article says the manager has apologised. Apparently, according to the article the person who said they'd apply on Rachel and her husband behalf left and didn't hand the job on. • I'm utterly baffled as to why anybody thinks this is newsworthy, let alone worth a front page. The economy has barely grown for 20 years and the housing crisis has been worsening for a similar time period. Note to any journalists on the forum: maybe focus your headlines on important issues.
