Carpenter recommendation

Phillip did a carpentry job in our house last week. Boxing in some pipe work. His work was super - really high level of finish. I was really pleased and hadn't thought it would look as good as it did! I'm having him back to do more work for sure. He arrived on time and cleaned up any mess. Highly recommended.

A further endorsement for Phillip Quinn, who has just replaced and hung some internal doors (including some re-working of the frame) and fitted a garden door for us, plus a couple of extra little jobs. Responsive, turned up on time and did a nice neat and precise job. Good to deal with and would not hesitate to use him again. His number is 07701097779.

Another thumbs up for Phil. He's now done various jobs at our including book shelves, window seat and bespoke shelves to fit alcove in the loft. Been very pleased with the work and as an added bonus Phil is a lovely chap. He's quite happily worked around me and charges a reasonable price.

Hi, just want to echo praise for Phil. He's a really competent carpenter who made a large fixed book case unit for us very quickly and neatly. He was also willing to come back and adjust one section we weren't happy with so that it looked neat and was fully functional. I highly recommend him and will look to use him again in future.
I would also like to add a recommendation for Phil. He built a fitted cupobard for us and did a fantastic job. He was very responsive, from the first enquiry through to doing the work, built exactly what was required, did it quickly and left the place tidy. We would happily use him again.

    • DKH was two form entry, it is now one form entry to cope with the fact it was far more under subscribed than other schools in the area. They had actually combined year groups into single classes, 3/4 and 5/6.  When a school changes name, it’s usually because of a bad reputation perhaps the results.  The new name is dry with no history unlike its current name. It’s a very sketchy decision. It’s an expensive vanity project for someone.  What  will happen if the name change does not increase applications to the school?
    • @first mate I assume Alice made a mistake, as she removed her reaction.  I was wondering about park wardens. As I said, there was one there last night, who was incredibly helpful and proactive. As well as bringing me to the police, he caught up with a young guy on a bike who'd earlier been the victim of an attempted theft by these kids and linked him up with the police too. But I do wonder, as I've only very occasionally seen him riding around, how many they have and what hours they patrol. I've no doubt they'd be a strong deterrent if they had a better presence. They were nowhere to be seen the first time around.  Update: I've just found this: https://services.southwark.gov.uk/community-safety/community-wardens The guy in the photo at the bottom of the page was the lovely warden of last night and I've just now remembered him telling me he's based in Burgess Park. Anyway, there needs to be more of them, as I rarely see one in Peckham.
