Hi, I'm hoping for some advice.

I have a newborn and nearly three year old (but the todder is not keen on walking!)

I am looking at buying a Phil and teds with double seat.

But which model should I get?

I've heard good reviews of the dot, but today the shop told me I can't use the bottom seat until my baby is 3 months old. Does this sound right?!

In short could anyone recommend one model over the other?

I'd be very grateful for advice.

Many thanks!

Hello

It can be confusing as there are so many models on the market! For the first eight months I carried my baby in a sling and had my toddler in a stroller. I used a Phil And Teds Sport for a while but found it was just too big for my needs (I use public transport every day.) I then decided on the Phil And Teds Navigator as it seemed to be the most compact and narrow of all the P&T models. So, I didn't start using it until my baby was much older but I see on their website that it has 26 'riding options' including toddler with newborn. Just google Phil And Teds Navigator and click on Riding Options. I have no complaints about it. Very easy to get on and off buses and trains. Expensive though! I got mine second hand from Gumtree.

Good luck!

I've had the Navigator 2 (which got stolen from my car), then a Sport (hated it so upgraded after a couple of months)and now a Dot.

I would avoid the Sport, either of the others are good but my preference is the Dot, it seems smaller (but still plenty big enough for my 3 year old)

You are welcome to come and test drive mine

Emma

I had a vibe and never really liked it, didn't compare at all well to my chameleon which I loved, but needs must!

I would go with a mountain buggy if I were to need a double again!

A friend had the promenade(?) and was very pleased with it.

I had a Vibe which I hated (too bulky, didn't go through doors etc). I now have a Navigator v2 which works really well for me. Initially I was interested in the Dot (the smallest / lighter), but I read bad reviews re the main seat being too narrow so I changed my mind. Good luck!

    • Nadia did a great job tidying up my very very overgrown yard. (See the before and after photos). I live in New Zealand and my tenants said a neighbour has been complaining about the out of control ivy. Nadia was easy to contact so over WhatsApp, managed to liaise between me and my tenants. Her quote was reasonable for the amount of work that needed doing, and the end result is great! She sent photos throughout so I could track progress. Would highly recommend her to others.
    • My car was stolen a few months back from my driveway but I had a tracker and found it in a private car park in Lavender Hill close to the police station. I was lucky. The thieves hide it up against that eventuality. High spec cars are targeted I'm afraid. The way it was stolen required the thieves to wire in their own computer accessing a front light (which had had a metal sheet welded across which they prised off). They had searched for a tracker but not found it. They also had to cut away a steering wheel lock. They had to come well tooled up and briefed to do what they did. Beating them off is non trivial. As I said, them not finding my tracker was just lucky.
    • Been with The Gardens now for around 30 years and very rarely do I have a problem. I went in to collect a form and mentioned that my leg was hurting and hot- was seen immediately by the Practice nurse who then arranged an appointment on the Saturday with the Extra care service at TJ Centre where I saw a doctor, who then sent me off to Kings for further tests.. I recently booked a flu jab but appointment is in 2 weeks.
    • Have used Milk and More for years. When the price went up we cancelled a couple of pints but we still have 8 pints a week. If we are expecting family etc we buy from Sainsburys to top up. We kept on with M & M as if weather bad we could order extra stuff from them to save us a trip to Sainsburys Local. Also gives employment to our milkman.
