MUDDY BOOTS Children's Nature Group

Sunshine forecast tomorrow at MUDDY BOOTS Children's Nature Group -

Monday 2nd March 10-11.30am Devonshire Road Nature Reserve

We'll be making binoculars and looking through them for signs of Spring in the Nature Reserve.

All welcome, meet at Reserve gates on Devonshire Road, opposite Tyson road. See you there!

Muddy Boots is a children's nature group which runs at Devonshire Road Nature Reserve in Forest Hill every Monday and Friday 10-11.30. Its very hands-on, friendly, relaxed, completely outdoors and aims to let children learn about nature, get grubby, get lots of fresh air and explore this lovely wild green space at their own pace. Each week we have a nature related activity nature and there's digging, watering, a walk in the woods and listening for wildlife. We end up back at our log circle basecamp with a story, snack and songs. Children any age love the peace of the reserve and are very welcome. To engage best with the day's more structured activity, I recommend 14m and over. Younger siblings are very welcome to come along for free. ?6 per child, sibling discount. Meet at the gates on Devonshire Road, opposite Tyson road.

No need to book, just turn up. Any queries, email [email protected] or call/text on 07919 077198

    • If no one else has a problem, then it sugggests that the delivery person may not be aware of any harm and would respond well to a conversation. It also goes without saying that just because no one else has a problem, that the OP is not valid in raising their issues.
    • Remember, you never know what someone else is going through behind closed doors....
    • Is anyone else having difficulty booking Silver Swim sessions (Tuesday and Thursday between 3pm-4pm?) Almost all the spaces are taken before the online booking system opens at 10pm several days before. Last night there appeared to be one space available for next Tuesday. I tried to book at one second past 10pm but was unsuccessful. This seems to have been a recent phenomenon. I made a telephone call this morning but just received a recorded message saying that the voicemail box was full. Am I right in assuming that in person bookings are now taking precedence over online ones?
    • I completely agree with you, Angelina. But it's worth noting that no one else has a problem with her, or finds her rude /  has mentioned her aggressively banging gates / ringing doorbells etc.
