Highly recommended painter!

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'd just like to add to the recommendations for John McCaffery who did an excellent job re-decorating (including repairing damaged plaster & repainting) two bedrooms in our flat.

He worked long hours to ensure that the job was completed on time and we are really delighted with the quality of his work. He's also super friendly, and I felt really comfortable leaving him in our flat all day whilst we were out at work.

We will definitely be using him again in the future.

I'd second this and the many other recommendations for John on the forum. He has carried out painting work for us over the past five years and shown himself to be very good at all types of decorating - external masonry, woodwork, interior walls and decorative features as well as wallpapering.

His rates are very reasonable and he is a pleasure to have around. John can be contacted on 07868 102497 and [email protected]

Yup - John did a great job at our house too. He was very tidy, friendly to have around the house and did the job of a two storey hall way and some additional woodwork and bedroom walls within days. Nice guy, good prices.

We will definitely be calling him back at some point.

    • But no one's arguing that pollution is bad and can cause asthma in children.
    • Yes, you're right. I was conflating Art Deco with 1920s and it does have more Arts and Crafts features. Either way, I think it's a pretty house.
    • Isn't the point of the second article but that Ella was the first child (and the first person) in the UK to have her cause of death listed as air pollution and principally 'traffic emissions'? https://www.judiciary.uk/prevention-of-future-death-reports/ella-kissi-debrah/ so slightly more than 'children get asthma' and hence why the coroner wrote the Report to Prevent Future Deaths with points of action for: 1. • It’s probably best described as Tudorbethan. It displays a rather twee, rose tinted yearning for a lost England that never really existed. Much like many posters on this forum.
