Late-late availability for our Photography for Parents workshop starting TOMORROW ( Wed 9th March)

Recommended Posts

Due to a late cancellation (chicken pox related) we have 2 spaces available at a very late availability for our lovely and baby-friendly Photography course for Mums and Dads.

I'd rather see the class full than see the spaces go to waste (as the classes nearly always sell out well in advance) and we never charge cancellation fees for illness so I'm offering a last minute discount of ?30 off the cost of the course. Simply book online quoting reference EDF30.Book online here: http://photographyforparents.co.uk/dulwich/

If you haven't heard about our courses yet - we're a parent AND baby friendly company - babies welcome in class!

Our classes, led by a talented children's photographer Katia Muscara take you step by step through your camera settings and guide you through various photography principles to help you start taking beautiful images of your own children - like a pro!

All you need is a camera and a child (of any age) to practice between classes. Things you learn include:

- capturing lovely soft background in your portraits with your child in front lovely and sharp

- getting consistently sharp images for your kids running around

- learning how to see and use available light to make your images really stand out

- learning how to compose your photograph thoughtfully and making them stronger and more impactful

- learning how to capture children of different ages

and lots lots more!

We've been running classes in East Dulwich for years now with consistently great feedback and Mums recommending us to one another. We're passionate about great children's photography and teaching every parent how to ensure they preserve their most precious family moments BEAUTIFULLY

This course is a 5 week course but due to Easter falling in the middle, we will be running it with a 2 week break in the middle - with 3 sessions in March : 11, 18 and 25th March , followed by 2 weeks break and 2 more sessions in April - 15 and 22 April

The classes take place in the wonderful All Fired Up cafe in Dulwich, and run from 10.30 am to 12.00pm

    • When I press "book an appointment" it simply say there are no available appointments. You must have had a lucky day with it?  Here's more info on Omnes/Evergreen/Concordia in addition to the info in the article about one of their practices being taken over again by the NHS -  https://www.nhsforsale.info/private-providers/concordia-health-new/ The formation and dissolution of companies is interesting... https://suite.endole.co.uk/insight/people/12159522-mr-adam-hurd?page=companies https://suite.endole.co.uk/insight/people/11150700-mr-toby-hurd When I asked two different persons at the practice how many Doctors they had neither gave a direct answer but one did say recruitment has been difficult ...
    • The two big bins at the crossing near North X Rd and the little one at the bus stop nearby have gone. Seems odd, given they were often full of rubbish. I reported it on Fix My Street. (On another note, crow-proof bins do exist and would be very handy!)
    • Let me know if you have any you would like to sell
    • Ha ha...are you sure...if I remember rightly someone leaked it to Peter Walker at the Guardian and he "selectively plucked" some headlines for his article and as you read the article you realised he was absolutely Peter Walker'ing his coverage with some absolute, bleedingly obvious, pearls like: A copy of the report seen by the Guardian said that polling carried out inside four sample LTNs for the DfT found that overall, twice as many local people supported them as opposed them. The leak to him was about getting some pro-LTN spin on the story before the government put their anti-LTN spin on it!   CleanAirDulwich is a bit misleading isn't it as they are actually an anti-car, pro-cycling lobby group who don't actually talk about clean air in Dulwich at all - unless, of course, you think cycling is the cure-all for all pollution problems!? All of their content seems to be weighed very heavily, ahem, to just one form of active travel....
