Old VHS recycling

Hi there - I have a stack of old VHS videos that we no longer want (kids shows and some films etc). Does anyone know how/where to pass these on? I'm not sure that charity shops accept them anymore do they and I can't bear to throw them away.Is there anywhere locally they can be recycled in some way? Any advice v welcome? Thanks

the Scope shop on Rye Lane (I think it's Scope) takes them, we have bought many a Disney video there.
