Switching energy companies...any to avoid? Any recommendations...

Recommended Posts

Sorry, bit of a bore me, snore me post but...

I'm thinking of switching energy companies but wary of ending up with one that are a pain in the you-know-what to deal with.

I'm currently with British Gas, I don't find their customer service too bad but reckon I can save a lot by switching...there's loads out there though offering better rates.

Npower are said to be avoided at all costs.....any others, does anyone know? Or anyone had good experiences they can share? people generally only to take the net to write bad reviews.

Cheers!

It is my understanding that scottish gas own the hardware (pipe etc.) and therefore their prices are the best.

I have switched with them and found that to be case.....and when I have to call them someone actually answers.....good enough for me.

    • Hi all, we have noticed we have penetrating damp in our home. Has anyone worked with good contractors before that are able to help resolve the issue? Any advice would also be great!  Thanks, Emilie

I have used his services on several occasions now and I am always impressed by 1) the speed of his response,  2) his honest pricing,  3) the quality of his interventions.  I had a washing machine crisis the other day where my old appliance started leaking badly and into the flat below.  Aria can within an hour of my call and sorted the whole thing immediately.  Impressive! Highly recommended!    Posted Thursday at 17:56 a.
