doctor good for copd? support group?

can anyone recommend a local doc that deals well with patients with emphysema? my mum is moving here and I really would like to find her a more holistic doctor that will prescribe exercise and stress management type things rather than just pump her full of drugs that make her feel awful. Also if anyone knows of a support group for sufferers please let me know. Many thanks

Not sure about a doctor but I've seen a poster at the East Dulwich Community Centre for a singing group for people with COPD. I think this is it: http://www.blf.org.uk/Page/Singing-Groups (scroll down till you get to E Dulwich)

Thank you so much edanna .. things like this would be great. Some social activity in a new place ( with people who wont judge her for being a little unwell ) would be great. Its a big move for her , from up north, and I'm desperate to make life as fun as possible..
