Very difficult to say.. They all vary on a day to day basis..

The Curry Club thread will has reviews of all local Indian over the last 8 years.

Don't suggest you read all of those but what it does highlight is that people tend to have their own

favourites which other people my not find so appealing.

It is a personal thing and very much depends on your own personal taste.

Dulwich Tandoori is popular.. Jaflong is very good but has recently stopped selling alcohol.

But you can take your own beer or wine at no charge. (no corkage)

Curry Cabin is nice.. Surma too..

    • Hi, does anyone have their up to date number please?
    • I imagine Franco Manca's business dropped off quite a bit when Yard Sale opened (though isn't Yard Sale delivery only?) But in any case, both of those are chains.
    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.  That's good of Sainsburys! We've done the apple pie and tart thing, an ongoing muesli thing and the coleslaw thing - just not sure what effect all the sugars are having on our digestive tracts.  If we were in Somerset and had a press, I'd consider it. Can't be that diffcult, can it?
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
