We are thinking of getting a Danish au pair. She has asked whether we can book her on a language course, although her language seems very good to me! She is basically fluent. Does anyone have any ideas of a good course for her where she might make some friends and perfect her English? We live in Dulwich Village. Thanks a lot.

She also suggested we might get health insurance for her - having only just started looking into this, I am not really sure what she is referring to... any tips gratefully received!

Hi Lucy

We run English classes specifically aimed at au pairs on Thursday mornings, 10.00- 11.30 am, term time only in Dulwich Park. I also run a small conversation class on Fridays 11.30-1.00pm .It is a good place to meet other local au pairs and to avoid the hour each way travelling into town.

The next course starts Thursday April 16th .

Please look at our facebook page to get an idea,

for full details, including registration.

Kind regards

But from 2020 onward it was difficult to tell someone who was very frail she needed to change her will etc. There's a further tail about the 'friend' of my aunt who gets around 90% of the estate, and some manipulation of my aunt's finances by this friend.  Police wont get out of bed for a million or so for fraud cases so didn't go to them.
