...Hey, if anyone is mad enough to do what I did this morning, come along and join, it was a lovely way to start the weekend....cycled from Dulwich to Wimbledon Common at 7.30am (lovely time of the day to be out on the olde bike). Rocked up to the common with my whippet-like friend, and did the 5K Time Trials (which start at 9am) through the woods. I used to do the Richmond TTs, but this is so much better, much more scenic. It's free, it's you against the clock, they record your time online and take a few funny photos as you go round. All abilities, friendly types, really sets you up for the day. Took me 40 mins to cycle there..., and 26mins to run the course. :)

    • We have a place and a date for the first (and hopefully not the last) reborn ED Forum drinks! We have booked tables at The Palmerston on Wednesday 11 June at 7pm, in the area by the window on the left as you come in. It would be very helpful to us (and particularly the pub) if you could PM us in good time if you intend to come, so that we are not reserving tables which won't be used. We will provide labels and pens  for those who would like to use them - definitely not compulsory! Any comments or queries, please post them here or PM me!

    • I can't recommend Leon too highly.  He provides a first-rate service.  He's friendly but also professional.  He sorted out my extractor fan which  was running incessantly because another electrician had bodged it. At the same time he saved me buying a new shaver unit which had stopped working when the extractor wouldn't stop running. He was also uncomplaining about having to to go up and down 3 flights of stairs between the bathroom and the electrical power unit. He will definitely be my first port of call for any future electrical issues.  His contact number is: 07707 925039.
