Romnarz
The best is Lesnes Abbey Woods, sometimes known as Abbey Wood, is an area of ancient woodland in southeast London, Oxleas Wood has Abbey ruins where the kids can run around and explore, also Formal gardens with a nice cafePonds and Playground facilities. There is a vast area known as Bluebell Woods the whole forest floor is just covered with blue.http://www.visitlesnes.co.uk/visitor-information Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/57342-does-anyone-know-of-a-local-wood-that-has-bluebells/#findComment-842664 Share on other sites
hmt1979
Thanks everyone for the suggestions. We did go to Beckenham place park which had lots of bluebells and was a lovely park to stroll around. Think we will have to check out Lesnes Abbey Woods also though, it sounds great!
