Just had an excellent cut and colour from Stevie today. Was the second time she has cut my hair after I found her recommended in a thread a few months back.

Currently difficult for me to get to a salon as I have two young children so needed someone to come round. Stevie is super friendly and professional and the cut and colour was at least to the standard ive received in various salons in the past. Also very reasonably priced.

Her number is 07535 660509 but PM if any specific questions.

I have to add my voice to this post about Stevie as she is great. I have had her doing my highlights for about five years now and highly recommend her. She listens carefully to what you want, spends time showing you charts and colours, is flexible, punctual, professional and very reasonably priced.

And another recommendation. Stevie came to cut my kids hair. She's charming, great with kids and frankly, did the best cuts they've ever had. My daughters hair is very very thick and wavy and she cut a very neat bob and even put some argan oil on it to help manage it and my son's is short and fine and his hair is immaculate now. Thanks Stevie - will always come back to you.

I've been using Stevie for a number of years, since I lived in SE5, and she worked in a salon nearby. Now that she's mobile it's perfect US both. She is 100% reliable, always on time, and does a fantastic cut,and blow dry for me every time and at a very reasonable price. I'm in kirkdale now.

    • Portable ramps are available for businesses to use in this sort of situation, aren't they? I don't know whether one would be suitable for use here, or whether they have the space to store one. Lots of people have  permanent or temporary disabilities which mean they have to use crutches or a wheelchair.
    • I can’t remember where I read that figure but this article in the Grauniad from 2023 discusses Ocado results from 2022. The average shopping cart fell to £118 from £129 the previous year. But Ocado lost £500m that year on approximately 20 million orders (circa 400k orders per week). So, averaging out to £25 lost per order. Ocado pauses building new warehouses as annual losses balloon to £500m | Ocado | The Guardian  Obviously, the £500m loss includes various factors. But Ocado has existed for 25 years and only made a small profit in a couple of those years. The rest have been huge losses. Yet it continues to raise funds and speculation sends the share price up and down. In that respect,  it’s like the UK version of Tesla. Meanwhile, the main growth in the supermarket sector has been for Aldi and Lidl, who do not deliver.
