Re-surface inside enamel of a bath, any recommendations or advice??

hi there

I have a second hand cast iron bath and there are pits and small chips on the inside - no big holes but I think it needs sanding down and re-painitng with enamel paint. I've had some very high quotes online for this and I reckon a good handyman could do this rather than a big company with all the bells and whistles. Any advice please? am in SE6 - thanks!

  I doubt it was the ice cream. Lots of winter bugs around. Noro virus is around ATM and it can have a sudden onset. It is horrible to see little ones being ill but hopefully it will pass soon. Call 111 if you are concerned.
